Military Hospitality Suite
Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) recognizes the strong military presence within our community and nation. Fort Gordon Georgia is approximately fifteen miles from the Airport and AGS sees numerous military personnel travel through the terminal. As a way to give back to those who have given so much to the United States and her citizens, AGS has provided the men and women of the U.S. Military, both active and retired, a suite in which to relax while at the Airport.
The suite is designed to offer military personnel a quiet place to relax and spend quality time with their family and friends prior to a deployment or departing flight. The suite is equipped with:
- A 60 inch big screen TV
- Three Dell computer work stations
- Five large recliners
- A kids play area
- A lending library
The Military Suite was constructed as part of the new terminal project in 2008. In September of 2013 AGS was approached by Americas Adopt A Solider to partner with the Airport to renovate the space as part of the 255S Information Protection Technicians Warrant Officers Fort Gordon class project.
In just three short months the suite was renovated to offer the armed forces a relaxing, updated lounge to enjoy during their time at AGS. The renovation project could not be possible without the sponsoring organizations: Americas Adopt A Soldier, Augusta Fort Gordon Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Ashley Furniture, Booz Allen Hamilton, Dell, Master Craft Flooring, and The 255S Information Protection Technicians Warrant Officers Fort Gordon Class.

AGS asks all military personnel to please use this suite while traveling through Augusta Regional Airport as a token of appreciation for your service.
The Military Suite is located directly across from the ticket counters on the south end of the main terminal building.
