Spring Music Fest
Augusta Regional Airport is proud to host the Fourth Annual Spring Music Fest which will entertain passengers traveling during the week of the 2016 Masters.
For the past four years the Airport secures local area artist to perform for the traveling public during the first full week of April. These artist will be performing in the gate area of the main terminal building. This year the Airport Art Committee has selected the following artist for entertainment:
A Step Up
Traditional jazz, bebop, and modern jazz are brought to you by the talents of Eric Hillman and Michael Peele This band has been performing since the 1990's in the Augusta area. They have played in various groups such as The Soul Bar Quartet, The Kings of Swings, and The Augusta Jazz Project. For more information on the band please visit their website by clicking here.
Eryn Eubanks and the Family Fold
Eryn sings, composes songs, and plays numerous instruments that include: mandolin, slide mandolin, acoustic guitar, open back banjo, electric bass, fiddle, and much more. Eryn's father, Patrick, plays various percussion instruments and wooden boxes while her mother, Ricie, sings harmony and plays the upright bass. The band will be performing Tuesday, April 7th at 9:00, 2:00, and 6:00. Each performance will be for one hour.
Kyle currently resides in Augusta, Georgia and attends GRU as an accounting major. He has been singing and playing the guitar at local restaurants for the past few years. He sings country, rock, and folk rock. For more information on Kyle please visit his website by clicking here.
Fred Williams is a smooth jazz contemporary praise and worship saxophonist who is a native of Louisiana, but now resides in Augusta GA. Fred has been heard throughout the CSRA as a featured artist during the Westobou Festival, the Augusta Canal Sunset Cruises, and the North Augusta Summer Music Services. James "Bo" Gardner
James Gardner has played in several rock groups over the years and plays a variety of styles to include jazz, blues, and spiritual R & B. He has performed with Sawimoca and has performed as a backup musician for Eddie Floyd, Roy C., Bettye Swann, and Z. Hill. For more information on James please visit his website by clicking here.
John is an Augusta native who has 27 years of pulpit ministry along with his music. He has a rich baritone voice and is a self-contained performer who plays the guitar and piano. JaVonne Jones is a native of Augusta where she is currently a music teacher at Deer Chase Elementary School. She has been a music educator for eight years and even teaches violin lessons at the Augusta mini Theater Life Skills School. She has made multiple appearances around the area.
