AGS Receives $14.7 Million in Funding from the FAA, the Largest Amount in AGS History!
"I am thrilled to announce that the Department of Transportation has awarded a federal grant to Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field to extend and rehabilitate the existing taxiway. With exciting growth coming to the Augusta area, we are in the position to be one of, if not the most, important region in the country and ensuring that our infrastructure is in top shape is imperative. "We have a new commercial service terminal, enplanements have increased 100%, our main runway was recently rebuilt with federal dollars, we have mainline service providing daily non-stop flights to two international airports from Augusta and we have a new general aviation terminal that rivals any GA terminal in the country. We are pleased to receive these funds which will help us to continue building infrastructure to support our future growth?"
